  • Kruiden sites
    • Kruidengeneesmiddelen, werkt het echt? | De databank start in 2010 met ongeveer 40 kruiden, waarvan een monografie bestaat of in ontwikkeling is door zowel WHO, ESCOP als EMA. Met name de informatie van deze drie bronnen die overlapt is opgenomen. In de toekomst zal deze informatie steeds worden aangevuld waarbij transparantie voorop staat.

    • De Algemene Nederlandse Vereniging voor Ayurvedische Geneeskunde (ANVAG) | De ANVAG is een onafhankelijke beroepsvereniging voor regulier en Ayurvedisch geschoolde artsen en therapeuten, die zich beroepsmatig bezigen met het praktiseren van de Ayurvedische geneeskunde.
    • De Nederlandse Werkgroep van Praktizijns in de natuurlijke geneeskunst (NWP) | De NWP is een vereniging van zelfstandige, professionele beroepsbeoefenaars van natuurlijke geneeswijzen. De NWP is sinds 1948 actief op het terrein van de professionalisering van de beroepsgroep.
    • Nederlandse Vereniging voor Fytotherapie (NVF) | De allerbeste website in Nederland met de nieuwste wetenschappelijke informatie over fytotherapie en de wetgeving daaromtrent. Opgericht in 1988. Op Europees niveau vertegenwoordigd door European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy. (ESCOP) Beheert het R.P. Labadiefonds (subsidie aan fyto scripties, onderzoek enz.) Aangesloten bij de Federatie van Medisch Wetenschappelijke Verenigingen. Uitgeefster van het Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Fytotherapie en andere publicaties. Organiseert regelmatig wetenschappelijke bijeenkomsten.
    • Vereniging van Natuurgeneeskundig Therapeuten (VNT) | De VNT is in 1980 opgericht als beroepsvereniging van Natuurgeneeskundig Therapeuten. Met ruim 700 leden is zij één van de grootste beroepsverenigingen binnen de natuurgeneeskunde in Nederland.
  • Innovatief onderzoek complementaire behandelwijzen
    • Foundation for Revitalisation of Local Health Traditions in India (FRLHT) | FRLHT is een Indiase stichting opgericht in 1993 door de heer Darshan Shankar. Deze stichting houdt zich bezig met het herwaarderen van oude tradities in de Indiase natuurlijke geneeskunde. De stichting is actief op vele gebieden en is meerdere malen onderscheiden voor haar inzet en opmerkelijke resultaten. Wij kennen de heer Darshan Shankar persoonlijk en zijn zeer onder de indruk geraakt van zijn vooruitziende blik en absoluut heldere kijk op de problemen en uitdagingen waar zijn stichting voor staat.
    • Het nationaal informatie en kenniscentrum integrative medicine (NIKIM) | Het NIKIM verspreidt wetenschappelijke kennis en praktische informatie over Integrative Medicine in Nederland.
    • IOCOB – Stichting voor innovatief onderzoek en onderwijs van complementaire behandelwijzen. | Complementaire behandelwijzen staan momenteel hevig in de belangstelling. Langzaam ontwaakt binnen de geneeskunde het besef dat binnen deze stromingen nieuwe inspiratiebronnen te vinden zijn. IOCOB wil deze bronnen voor de gehele geneeskunde en de individuele patiënt ontsluiten, een objectief portaal zijn van alle informatie op het gebied van complementaire behandelvormen; voor consument, gezondheidswerkers en beleidmakers, nieuw innovatief onderzoek stimuleren en uitvoeren.

    • Abim a bibliography on Indian Medicine | The author of this Annotated Bibliography of Indian Medicine (ABIM) is Jan Meulenbeld. History ABIM started as the bibliography of Jan Meulenbeld’s A History of Indian Medical Literature, and was first published on the internet as a set of HTML files in 2002. The textfiles of the bibliography were converted into a database by Richard Mahoney in 2006 / 2007, with financial support from Dominik Wujastyk.
    • AYU | An International Quarterly Journal of Research in Ayurveda. Started in 1964, the journal has continuously contributed for the research, education and propagation of Ayurveda on the national as well as international platform.
    • eJIM – eJournal of Indian Medicine eJIM | eJIM is a multidisciplinary periodical that publishes studies on traditional South Asian medical systems by qualified scholars in philology, medicine, pharmacology, botany, anthropology and sociology.
    • The International Journal for Ayurveda Research | The International Journal for Ayurveda Research, a publication of Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India, is a Quarterly peer-reviewed international journal. The journal’s full text is available online at www.ijaronline.com . The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository. The journal does not charge for submission, processing or publication of manuscripts and even for color reproduction of photographs. This is the first journal from India that can present to the world the wealth of science generated in Ayurveda in the medical schools and research organizations in the country.

  • Department of Ayurveda

    • Traditional Knowledge Digital Library | De Traditional Knowledge Digital Library is een enorme databank van honderdduizenden formularia. Het kostte 200 onderzoekers ruim acht jaar om de oude geschriften van de Indiase geneeskunstsystemen – Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha en Yoga – uit het Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Sanskriet, Arabisch, Perzisch en Urdu te vertalen. Duizenden uren werk zit hierachter, een megaprestatie. De databank is het eigendom van het Indiase ministerie van Gezondheid en Gezinswelzijn, en is opgezet om te voorkomen dat buitenlandse bedrijven patent aanvragen op traditionele geneesmiddelen.
